Mrs. Laurel R. Hoskins , age 90, of Northside Drive, Carrollton passed away Monday, February 14, 2011. Mrs. Hoskins was born in Ogdensburg, NY on April 23, 1920, the daughter of the late William Walton Reynolds and Anna M. Collins Reynolds. She was a veteran of the US Army Nurse Corps during WWII where she served in France. Mrs. Hoskins retired as an instructor at Kennesaw State. She was a member of the West Georgia Quilters Guild and Carrollton Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her only child, Laurel Nalley of Carrollton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Floyd Hoskins; three sisters and one brother. Memorial services will be Thursday, February 17 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Nisbet Jr. officiating According to Mrs. Hoskins wishes, her body will be cremated.
