Mr. Larry Thomas Pollard age 82, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Mr. Pollard was born on December 23, 1941 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Hubert Monroe Pollard and Sarah Catherine Crawford Pollard. He was a 1960 graduate of Carrollton High School and retired from Johnson Industries where he worked in sales. He enjoyed listening to Old Country and Bluegrass music and in his younger days loved to play pool. The Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves were his favorite sports teams and most recently he became a huge Caitlin Clark fan. His last meal came from one of his favorite local restaurants Jerry's Country Kitchen and he was a member of Grace Covenant Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Pollard; son, Bradford Thomas Pollard; granddaughter, Sara Catherine Pollard; sister, LeDoris Pollard Chandler and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Monroe Pollard; sister, Linda Sue Ellison and brother, Richard Prentice Pollard.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. A private family inurnment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Jay Sutton officiating.
