Mr. Larry Todd Horton, age 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026.
Born on December 31, 1952, in Oakland County, Michigan, Larry was the son of the late Elmer Horton and Lorraine Rusnell. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Lonnie Horton.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he worked in manufacturing at the can plant in Atlanta, helping produce aluminum cans for Coca-Cola products. Later in life, he pursued a career in the aviation industry, where he worked as an aircraft refueler.
Larry was a man of many interests and passions. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature. He was an avid fan of Star Wars, had a deep appreciation for military history, and enjoyed photography. Larry never met a stranger and could often be found talking with neighbors and friends. He was also a talented LEGO builder, earning the affectionate title of "LEGO Master" among those who knew him best.
Survivors include his former wife, Patricia Horton; daughters, Sarah Horton and Laurabeth Horton; stepson, Jeff Bender; grandchildren, Sydney, Eleanor, Ashleigh, Jack, Emma, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Luca and Miles; brother, Elmer Horton; sister, Lori Mueller; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life honoring Larry's memory will be held Monday, June 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.

Larry will be remembered for his service to his country, his love of family and friends, his curiosity about the world, and the kindness he shared with all who knew him.
