Mr. Larry Kermit Cox, age 63 of Carrollton, Georgia died Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Mr. Cox was born in Carroll County, Georgia on September 16, 1950, the son of the late Kermit B. Cox and Clarice Spruell Cox. Larry was a very skilled mechanical craftsman having worked at Sun Belt Trucking Company, as head of maintenance for the U.S. division, and later as a mechanic for Southwire. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy and a member of AmVets. He is survived by his sister, Carol Cox Mitchell of Carrollton; brother, Benjamin N. Cox of Marietta and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 1129 Farmers High Road on Sunday, May 4 at 2 p.m. Almon Funeral Home, Carrollton.
