Mrs. Kathryn Bass Goldin, age 92 formerly of South Street, Carrollton, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007. Mrs. Goldin was born in Carroll County on March 16, 1915, the daughter of the late Eldred C. Bass and Mary Ruth Smith Bass. She retired from Gates Furniture Company where she had worked as a secretary and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother, Dr. E. C. "Sonny� Bass of Carrollton and several nieces and a nephew. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon L. Goldin and daughter, Rebecca Goldin. Private services will be held Friday, August 24, 2007. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tanner Hospice Care, P.O. Box 1136, Carrollton, GA 30112. Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
