Obituary

Katherine Pearl Driver, 80, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 14, 2025. She was born on December 22, 1944 to the late, Woodrow Wilson Driver and Pearl Merrell Driver.

Katherine grew up on the family farm in Clem and attended the old Clem Schoolhouse as a child. After graduating from Central High School, she left for the "big city" of Atlanta at age 17. As a resident of Church's Home for young business girls, she formed life long friendships. After working as a secretary for the Georgia Association of Dry Cleaners for several years, she began her career with Coca Cola at their North Avenue headquarters where she worked until retirement. She moved back to the Clem family farm in the late 80's and remained there until her passing.

Katherine enjoyed music, theater, and traveling with her friends, especially cruising. She was a season ticket holder for the Alliance theater, and never missed a local production that her nieces and nephews were a part of. She was a Pink Lady volunteer for Tanner Hospital. She faithfully attended Whooping Creek Primitive Baptist Church, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Driver Grovenstein and a brother, Rickey Driver. Survivors include sisters, Joyce Heath, Eleanor (Joey) Huckeba; brothers, William (Mary) Driver and David (Louise) Driver; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2:30 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Interment will be in Whooping Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Matthew Huckeba, Kirk Heath, Jonathan Stamps, Carter Stamps, Richard Urban and Joey Huckeba serving as pallbearers.
