Mrs. Juanita "Nita" D. Pittman, age 68, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

Born on May 18, 1956, in Rome, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul Fay Bynum and Mary Pruitt Bynum. A devoted homemaker, Nita dedicated her life to her family and home, finding joy in gardening, shopping, and keeping a warm, welcoming household. She was happiest when surrounded by loved ones and took immense pride in her role as wife, mother, and grandmother.

Nita had a spirited love for the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs, and NASCAR, cheering enthusiastically for her favorite teams. One of her cherished memories was traveling with her grandson Jayden to the Thomas the Train Museum in North Carolina—an adventure she treasured dearly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Gary Pittman; her grandchildren, Jayden(Miracle) Pittman and Bryanna Pittman; mother-in-law, Mary Frances Pittman; sister-in-law, Conchita Bynum; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nita was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brian "B" Pittman; her sister, Diane Bynum; her brothers, Bobby Bynum and Charles Bynum; and her father-in-law, Hovis B. Pittman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the Almon Chapel with Rev. Olen Wiggins officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton.
