Linda "Joyce" Muse, 83, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born on March 30, 1941, in Brunswick, Georgia, to the late Rev. Johnny Allen Hartley, Sr. and Reba Tyus Hartley.

A graduate of Carrollton High School's Class of 1959, Joyce began her career at Belk Rhodes on the square in Carrollton. She later dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, cherishing her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Joyce had a passion for arts and crafts, gardening, and savoring life's simple pleasures, like enjoying a good cup of coffee and shopping on QVC. Joyce's legacy of love and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Kristi) Muse and Jimmy Allen Muse; her grandchildren, Sara Reifsteck, Ashley Huey, Erica Willingham, Mark "Buddy" Muse, Johnathan Muse, and Amanda Stephens; and her great-grandchildren, Breven, Blake, and Cole Reifsteck; Todd Jr., Ally, Aubrey, Avery, and Bo Huey; Mylah McLendon, Laken Willingham; Taylor Benefield, Karly Muse, Hank Stephens; and Madi, Owen, and Rhett Muse. Joyce is also survived by her brother, Joel Hartley, and her sister, Janice Stringer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Johnny Allen Muse, her brother Johnny Allen Hartley Jr., and her great-grandsons Maddox Willingham and Hunter Huey.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 2 pm until 3 pm.

Funeral service will follow the visitation in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home at 3 pm with Minister Allen Howard officiating.

Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens with her grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers.
