Joshua Burgess Everett II, 64, of Carrollton, Georgia, died Monday, April 28, 2025.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 4, 1961, Josh was the son of the late John C.

Everett III and Betty Morgan Everett.

He is survived by son, Joshua B. Everett III; daughter, Morgan Everett; sisters,

Beth E. Altobellis and Leslie E. Bullis; brother, John C. Everett IV; six grandchildren;

and stepson, James Duke. Josh was predeceased by his parents and his wife,

Lynne McKnight Everett.

Josh loved cats and dogs and is missed by his miniature dachshund, Mia. Josh was

also a huge fan of University of Kentucky sports.

Josh and his family would like to thank the staff at Northwest Georgia Oncology

Center, including Bradley Larson MD and Whitney Adcock LPN, who provided

excellent care during his illness.

He will be buried in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky at a date to be

announced later.
