Mr. John Anthony Ricci, age 64, of Tallapoosa, GA passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013. Mr. Ricci was born in Buffalo, NY, on December 8, 1948 the son of the late Daniel Ricci and Blanche Miranda Ricci. He was a truck driver for Pilot Flying J. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughters, Andrea Ricci and Bernice Ricci of Carrollton; grandchildren, Harley Shope, Dillon Goolsby, and Jeremy Goolsby; sister, Donna Guarino of Amherst, NY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Corena Ricci. Memorial services will be Sunday, September 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Almon Chapel with Rev. Ricky Shadrix officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Malone, William Jones, and Bill Leaman.
