Mr. John Lynn Reed, age 56 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, February 20, 2015. Mr. Reed was born in Clovis, New Mexico on February 27, 1958 , the son of the late James L. Reed, Sr. and Julia D. F. Wells Reed. He was a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Tanner Medical Center and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dianne E. Reed; children, Amy Reed Goss, Brian John Goss (son-in-law), Benjamin John Reed, Sarah Nicole Reed; granddaughter, Katelyn Aubrey Goss, all of Carrollton; and brother, James L. Reed, Jr. of Panama City, Florida. The family will receive friends in the parlor at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Monday, February 23 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Memorial services will be Monday, February 23 at 3 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating. Music will be provided by Lynn and Dan Wehr. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Upchurch, Craig Chalk and Steve Lipham. American Legion Post #143 will fold and present the flag.
