Jimmy M. Holland Mr. Jimmy Moses Holland, 67, of West Carroll Road, Carrollton died Sunday, April 6, 2008. Mr. Holland was born in Carroll County on September 9, 1940, the son of the late John Gordon Holland and Clara Bell Cook Holland. He was a retired farmer and member of the Young Farmers Association, Carroll County Cattleman's Association, Carroll County ARC and former Warden at the Carroll County Correctional Institute. Mr. Holland was a member of Consolation Baptist Church where he was Chairman of the Deacons. Survivors include wife, Sue Griffin Holland, daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn Holland, Jane and Nathan Sauls, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Tara Holland, all of Carrollton, grandchildren, Drew Holland, Matt Holland, Jessi B. Holland, Cain Sauls, Luke Sauls, and Cole Sauls. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 12 noon at Consolation Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Powers and Rev. Carlin Phillips officiating. Pallbearers will be Randy Carden, Larry Bostwick, John Paulk, Bob Jones, Tommy Waldrop, and Chuck Joiner. The Deacons of Consolation Baptist Church will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Consolation Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Tim Cantrell, 345 Old Muse Road, Carrollton, GA 30116.
