Mrs. Jean Towler Paschal age 81, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Mrs. Paschal was born on February 6, 1942 in Morgan County, Georgia the daughter of the late Quillian Towler and Thelma Wellborn Towler. She was a 1960 graduate of Athens High School. She was a voracious reader and loved going to the library.

Survivors include her daughter, Melitta Paschal Brady; daughter-in-law, Georgia Paschal; grandchildren, Nevaeh and Jonas; brother, Charles Towler; sisters-in-law, Becky (Jerry) Maxwell, Lynda (Mickey) Jiles, Angie (Mark) Willingham and several special cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert Edward Paschal and son Jonathan Paschal.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Wellborn and Rev. Brian Willingham officiating.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon until the service hour.

Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens.
