Mr. James W. Barnes, age 71, of Plantation Place Villa Rica, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Mr. Barnes was born in Des Moines, IA, on January 9, 1938, the son of the late John Johnston Barnes and Laura Mae Carlson Barnes. He was a graduate of Newton High School, Simpson College in Indianola, IA and retired owner of McDonald's Franchises for 25 years here in the West Georgia area. Survivors include his wife, Nancy D. Barnes, and brother, Jack Barnes of Villa Rica, GA. In accordance to Mr. Barnes wishes, his body was cremated. Memorial contributions may be made to Tanner Hospice Care P.O.
