Jacqueline E. McLeod, age 60, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025.

Born on November 24, 1964, in Heard County, Georgia, Jacqueline was the daughter of the late James Edward Hand and Joan Fannie Knight Hand.

She dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in the healthcare industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A true country girl at heart, Jacqueline found joy in the simple things—spending time outdoors, gardening, fishing, and caring for animals. Her love for nature and her nurturing spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Justin Hand; her brother, Jody Hand; her sister, Jennifer Almon; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her brother, James Hand, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home.
