Mr. Hugh Lee Huckeba, Sr., age 81, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015. Mr. Huckeba was born in Lowell, Georgia on May 28, 1934, the son of the late Joseph Leonard Huckeba and Ruth Dean Huckeba. He had worked for Gold Kist in the maintenance department and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Hugh Lee Huckeba, Jr. of Bremen and Michael A. and Debbie M. Huckeba of Carrollton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Joyce Hornsby Huckeba; sisters, Claranell Huckeba, Helen Berteen Huckeba, Sarah Huckeba; brothers, J. L. Huckeba, Jr., Roy Tillman Huckeba, Jewell "Bo" Rayford Huckeba and Roy Lee Huckeba. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Graveside service and interment will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Carrollton City Cemetery with Rev.
