Mr. Horace Eugene Talley, age 86 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020. Mr. Talley was born in Heard County, Georgia on April 17, 1933, the son of the late Andrew J. Talley and Carrie Noles Talley. Mr. Talley was a veteran, having served in the United States Army and later became owner and operator of his own trucking company. He was an avid nascar fan. Survivors include his sisters, Hazel Bruton of Carrollton, Joan Couch of Acworth, Margie Milam of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Pauline Talley of LaGrange and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sarah A. Talley, brothers, Hanley and Hollis Talley. A graveside service and interment will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Veal Cemetery in Bowdon, Georgia.
