Mr. Hershel Thornton, age 78 of Carrollton, Georgia died Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Mr. Thornton was born in Carroll County, Georgia on August 17, 1943, the son of the late Lenard W. Thornton and Lela Thornton. He was retired carpenter, electrician and a jack of all trades. Survivors include his wife, Linda Yancey Thornton; son, Tracy Thornton and brother, Harvey Thornton. He was preceded in death by his brother, J. L. Thornton. In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated and no service is planned.
