Mrs. Helen H. Jeffers, age 71 of Bowdon, Georgia passed away Monday, January 19, 2015. Mrs. Jeffers was born in Syracuse, New York on May 28, 1943, the daughter of the late Francis Hamel and Myra Graham Hamel. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Richard M. Jeffers of Bowdon; daughter, Kathleen J. Lusby of Cincinnati, OH; son, Richard S. Jeffers of Tallapoosa; daughter, Tamara J. Koppenhaver of Val Rico, FL; brother, Robert Hamel of Albany, NY and five grandchildren. No services are planned at this time. In keeping with Mrs. Jeffers wishes her body was cremated.
