Mrs. Hazel Guilford Sprewell, age 91, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Born November 24, 1933, in Dale County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Mark Guilford and Nunnie Rebecca Grimes Guilford. Hazel worked for many years as secretary to the Vice President of Southwire, where she was known for her dedication, professionalism, and kind spirit.

A faithful member of Salem Baptist Church, Hazel lived a life centered around her faith and family. She had a special love for babies and found great joy in shopping, always bringing a smile wherever she went.

She is survived by her children, Dianna Hazel Sprewell, Leldon Mark Sprewell, and Gordon Maris Sprewell (Toni); grandchildren, Amelia Trapp, Jonathan Williams, Jonathan Sprewell, Jessica Toler, and Kelsey Williams; and great-grandchildren, Callie, Cassie, Mallory, Lily, Eli, Luke, and Noah. She is also survived by her brothers, Don Guilford and Greg Guilford (Donna). In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Sprewell and brother, Roger Guilford.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Salem Baptist Church with Minister Allen Howard officiating.

Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
