Mr. Harvie Akers, age 84, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Sunday,

June 1, 2025.

Mr. Akers were born on November 28, 1940 in Carrollton, Georgia, the son of the late Samuel Davis Akers and Dona Lee Huckeba Akers.

He was a retired truck driver with Overnight Transportation and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Pat Moreno; grandchildren, Billy Smith, Gary Lee Baggett, Kile Ruben Baggett; great grandchildren, Skylee Baggett, Nakyah Graham; and niece, Debbie Sonders. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Viola Denney, Lucille Thomas, Ellen Tyson, Chrstine Collins, Eula Mae Stitcher, Ezma Thomas, Doris Akers; brothers, Roy Akers and Gerald Akers; and granddaughter, Anitta Bradford.

A private family service will be held at a later date per Harvie's wishes.
