Obituary

Harry Eugene Ream went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of August 14, 2024. Harry was born in Anniston, Alabama on May 26, 1947 of the late Roy Eugene Ream and Arlene Brown Ream.

Harry was a 1966 graduate of Ranburne High School and was an Army Veteran. He was employed by the US Post Office for over 20 years and then went on to teach Commercial Truck Driving at West Central Technical College until his retirement. Harry was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bremen, Georgia for 34 years until his declining health. He took great pride in the tulips in front of the Church that came up in the spring that he planted. Harry loved his Lord and loved his family and friends and was welcomed into heaven with open arms after a long and courageous battle. II Timothy 4:7 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith".

He is survived by the love of his life of 34 years, Carol Spinks Ream; daughters and son-in-law, Regina Bishop, Sherri Hildebrand (Kevin); sisters and brother-in-law, Sandy Paxton (Tom), Paulette Osterhout; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sherry Smith; and his brother, Ricky Ream.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Almon Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Center Point Cemetery with American Legion Post #143 providing military honors.
