Gordon Lee "Chip" Lovvorn, 30, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed from this life September 29, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born August 24, 1988 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to David and Pat Lovvorn. Chip was a 2007 graduate of Southside High School and attended University of Arkansas Fort Smith. Chip worked as the Logistics Manager at APF-American Precision Fabricators.
Chip is survived by his parents David and Pat Lovvorn of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two brothers, Jeffrey Lovvorn and his wife Jayme of Economy, Indiana and Drew Lovvorn and his wife Kristen of Van Buren, Arkansas; two nieces, Makaya and Kendall Lovvorn; two nephews, Caleb and Gabe Lovvorn; two uncles, Kent Lovvorn and Norman Angell and his wife Carolee, as well as six cousins, extended family and friends. Chip was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Anne Lovvorn.
A Celebration of Chip's Life service was held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 11am at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The family greeted friends from 5:00 to 7:30pm on Monday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton, Georgia at 11:00am Thursday, October 4, 2018 with Dr. Steve Davis officiating. Almon Funeral Home of Carrollton in charge of arrangements.
