Gerald"Jerry"Stevens Marlin was born in Canton, Ohio on February 2, 1942 to the late Richard William Marlin and Ruth Virginia Lyter Marlin. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Janice and to this union one child was born. A sister Beverly, a brother Ronald and the family dog Mocha Mary Marlin.

Jerry was born and raised in Ohio. He graduated Class of 1960 from Louisville High School. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force in which he was stationed in Vandenberg until 1964. Jerry worked at Sony for 35 years after which he retired as a Machine Shop Supervisor/Engineer.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Carol of 43 years, a son Steven (Robin)Marlin; the beloved family dog Zin Bella Marlin; 6 grandchildren Brittni, Hunter, Braydon, MacKenzie, Reece Marlin, and Cody Mitchell; 3 great grandchildren Braydon, Karson, and Karter Dawson; 2 nieces, a nephew, and a host of friends.
