Mrs. Fredia P. Cole age 72, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Mrs. Cole was born on November 20, 1951 in Chattanooga, Tennessee the daughter of the late Frank Pritchard and Flora Long Pritchard. She was graduate of Bremen High School and a member of Church of the Vine in Dallas, Georgia.
Fredia Cole, passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories. She was a devoted wife to Barry Cole, with whom she shared a long and happy marriage built on love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they created a life centered around their family, which was always Fredia's greatest passion.
Fredia's love for her family, especially her grandchildren, knew no bounds. She would do anything for them, no matter the time, day or night. She also loved her dogs. She had many over the years and they all had a special place in her heart.
Known for her wit and charm, Fredia could make anyone smile. She had a lighthearted spirit, a loving heart, and a knack for bringing warmth and comfort to those around her. Her love wasn't just felt by her family but also by her friends and those who admired her kindness and compassionate nature.
Though Fredia has left this world, her legacy of love and laughter will live on through her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Dean Cole; daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Scott Turner, Lisa and Blaine Orton; grandchildren, Caitlin Bonds (Josh), Ethan Lane, Benjamin Orton, Nicholas Orton; step grandchildren, Timothy Turner, Haley Turner, Eric Turner, Jacob Turner, Blake Turner, Karli Turner, Brittany Richards (Dustin), Lauren Orton; three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Bonnie Jenkins; brothers-in-law, Michael Cole, Dwayne Cole and Wendell Cole. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Freddie Pritchard; sisters-in-law, Robbie Akin, Betty Ann Smith, Peggy Reid, Charlotte Muse, Janice Kittle; brothers-in-law, Herbert Cole, CE Cole and Houston Cole.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September, 13, 2024 at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jay Sutton and Pastor Micah Gentle officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until the service hour.
Inurnment will be in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
