Mr. Frank Marion Jackson, Jr. age 77, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.

He was born on January 13, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late Frank Marion Jackson, Sr. and Hazel Jeanette Davenport Jackson.

Mr. Jackson was a graduate of the Carrollton High School class of 1964. He furthered his education and graduated from Emory at Oxford in 1966 and West Georgia College in 1968. Along with his late parents, he owned and operated the Western Auto Store on the square in Carrollton. Mr. Jackson also held management positions in the retail industry and food service. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He is survived by his son, Frank Marion Jackson, III; and mother of his son, Claire Adams Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 10:00 AM in the chapel with Pastor Robert Jackson officiating.
