Mr. Danny Frank Cooley, age 65 of Carrollton, Georgia died Thursday, July 2, 2015. Mr. Cooley was born in Bowdon, Georgia on August 12, 1949, the son of the late James Fletcher Cooley, Sr. and Ima Shirey Cooley. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp and member of Clem United Methodist Church. Mr. Cooley retired from the City of Carrollton where he worked as building inspector and was working with Natural Growth, Inc. in Roopville. Survivors include his wife, Penny Wooten Cooley; daughters, Tressa Cooley of Carrollton, Danni Cooley of Carrollton; sisters, Gail Shackelford of Tybee Island, Carolyn Brannon of Bowdon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James "Jimmy" Fletcher Cooley, Sr. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 7 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, July 7 at 6 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev.
