Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Scales McClung, age 87 of Carrollton, Georgia died Saturday, February 2, 2019. Mrs. McClung was born in Carroll County, Georgia on July 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Emmett M. Scales and Verdie Hall Scales. Throughout her working career she had driven a bus, worked as a nurse's assistant and tax and bookkeeper. She was a member of the former Abilene Baptist Church. Survivors include her special friend, Dale Robinson of Carrollton and nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo J. McClung. A graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery now the Church at Carrollton.
