Mrs. Frances Helene Lankford Martin, age 76 of Villa Rica, Georgia died Thursday, May 18, 2017. Mrs. Martin was born in Beaumont, Texas on August 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Autry Lankford and Helene Belk Lankford. She was retired executive assistant with Jordache and member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Don Martin; sons and daughter-in-law, John Lewis of Ft. Worth, Texas, Richard and Linda Lewis of Fayetteville, Georgia; daughter, Laurie Keirsey of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandchildren, Wesley Lewis, Taylor Kearns, Katy Lewis, Dalton Keirsey, Emily Lewis; great grandchild, Carter Kearns; brother, Pete Lankford of Houston, Texas. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan Lankford, Jane McCauley and Bitsy Goerner. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday, May 22 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.
