Mrs. Frances Irene Grant, age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia died Friday, September 20, 2013. Mrs. Grant was born in Carroll County, Georgia on October 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Angus B. Jackson and Naomi Duke Jackson. Survivors include her brother, L. N. Jackson of Carrollton; sister-in-law, Faye Jackson of Bowdon and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Grant; six brothers and one sister. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 22 at 5 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Wysner officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
