Faye Patton Gaston, age 82, passed away on October 30, 2026. Born on April 26, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Perry Patton, Jr. and Desmar Della Maddox Patton.

Faye was a devoted wife, loving sister, and cherished aunt who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She dedicated 25 years of faithful service as a seamstress at Lafitte Mop Company, where she was known for her hard work and dedication.

Outside of her work, Faye enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially taking long bicycle rides and peaceful walks. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, who brought her much happiness and companionship throughout the years. Faye will be remembered for her love of family, her appreciation for the simple things in life, and the special memories she leaves behind.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Gaston; her sister, Bonnie Lee; and her nieces, Renee Dickerson and Debbie Shelton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Montine Childers; and her nephew, Michael Childers.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM.

A graveside service will follow at Carroll Memory Gardens on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM.

Faye's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carroll County Humane Society in honor of Faye’s love for animal.
