Mr. Eugene Francis Weis, Jr. age 84 of Carrollton, GA passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021. Mr. Weis was born on October 27, 1936 in New York, the son of the late Eugene Francis Weis, Sr. and Caroline Weis. He retired from Delta Airlines where he worked as a radio technician. He was an animal lover, especially dogs, but his real passion in life was his ministry. In 2008, Mr. Weis and his wife founded the "Unity of the Cross," in which they led meetings of worship and healing at the Cross Auto Dealership in Carrollton. Mr. Weis attended Kingdom Rock Family Worship Center in Bremen, GA, and was committed to bringing the love of Christ to everyone he met. Mr. Weis also had a deep interest in Jerusalem, Israel, traveling there three times throughout his life. His hobbies included playing solitaire on the computer and building electronics, but most of all he enjoyed attending church functions. Survivors include his daughters; Darlene (Brian) McMichen and Karen Diane Phipps; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Andrew McMichen and brother, Charlie Weis. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Diane Therese Weis; grandson, Douglas McMichen; brother, Anthony Weis and infant brother, Joseph Weis. A combined memorial service for Mr. Eugene Weis, Jr. and his wife Diane Therese Weis will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Stroud officiating.
