Mrs. Estelle Hardegree Jiles, age 91, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on February 10, 1932, daughter of the late Hiram Aaron Hardegree and Viola Meeks Hardegree.

Mrs. Jiles was a retired licensed practical nurse having worked at Southwire and Tanner Medical Center. She was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Wanda (Terry) Sullivan of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael (Linda) Jiles of Wedowee, Gregory (Trish) Jiles of Bowdon, Kevin (Pam) Jiles of Carrollton; grandchildren, Heather (Steve) Findlay, Collin (Heather) Jiles, Miranda (Clint) Deaton, Shane Raney, Wendy (Larry) Crawford, Jonathan Sullivan, Shane (Sheila) Farmer, Michelle (Davis) Phillips, Dustin Jiles; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Jerry Hardegree of Mt. Zion. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Eugene Jiles; brothers, Aaron Hardegree, Jr., Norman Hardegree; sisters, Catherine Walker, Marjorie Dewberry; granddaughter, Marsha Jiles; grandson, Shea Sullivan; great grandson, Caleb Harris.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Almon Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 1 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Jiles and Rev. Tim Stephens officiating.

Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Rocky Brumbelow, Aaron Holder, Seth Farmer, Steve Findlay, Davis Phillips and Enoch Jiles.
