Mrs. Emma Stroh Spink, age 93 of Northside Drive, Carrollton, Georgia passed away peacefully Tuesday night, August 9, 2011. Emma was born in Alexander, New York on January 14, 1918, the daughter of the late George L. Stroh and Carrie Reynolds Stroh. She received her nursing degree from Buffalo Deaconess Hospital in Buffalo, New York and served in the U.S. Navy as a nurse from 1943 until 1945. Survivors include her nephews, Charles Peart, Milton Peart, Kerry Washburn, Vern Washburn; nieces, Georgeia DeFoe and Pauline Alford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Homer Spink. Emma's remains will be buried next to her husband in the Spink Family Plot in Warsaw Cemetery, Warsaw, N.Y.
