Mrs. Elsie Babette Pate, age 95, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

She was born in Grasslfing, Germany on May 18, 1929, the daughter of the late George Wallner an Barbara Stoeger Wallner.

Mrs. Pate attended school in Germany where she received training to become a Dental Hygienist. Upon her arrival in the United States, she continued this career, having worked for Dr. Trinkner for 20 years. She enjoyed ice skating in her younger years, figure skating and flower gardening.

She is survived by nieces, Brenda Vaughn (Michael), Diane Urban (Richard), Retha New; nephews, Danny Pate (Melissa), Johnny Robinson (Brenda); sister-in-law, Betty Pate; and cousins, Ernest and Eric Wallner. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard C. Pate.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 1PM to 2 PM at Union Grove Christian Church, 6604 Post Road, Douglasville, Georgia. Funeral service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Mike Mallory officiating.

Interment will be in Union Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
