Mrs. Ella Mae Ford Oliver, 83, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014. Mrs. Oliver was born in Altoona, Alabama on October 11, 1930, the daughter of the late Issac Millard Ford and Sally Cason Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Michael Lankford, Carol and Ricky Wright; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Jeanie Oliver all of Carrollton; grandchildren, Ryan ( Susana Almodovar) Lankford, Kathryn (Matt Hutcheson) Lankford, Kristen (Joey Merrifield) Shackleford, Rachel (Broderick Snoddy) Wright, Amanda Wright, Erin (Billy) Langley, Adam (Trista) Oliver, Chris Oliver; great grandchildren, Patrick Lankford, Garrett Lankford, Luke Lankford, Wyatt Oliver; sister, Marie Hathcock of Gadsden, AL; special friends, Randy and Pauline Burson and Jimmie Smith. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Oliver, seven brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 9 at 2 p.m. at Almon Chapel with Rev. Doug Bearden and Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Oliver, Ryan Lankford, Adam Oliver, Randy Burson, Billy Langley, Matt Hutcheson, Broderick Snoddy and Joey Merrifield.
