Elizabeth Hoobler Wilson, age 86, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on

June 6, 2025. Born July 18, 1938, in Jasper, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late

Claude Elmore Hoobler, Jr. and Ruby Kilgore Hoobler.

A devoted homemaker, Elizabeth dedicated her life to caring for her family with a quiet

strength, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith. She was a long-time member of Bremen

First Baptist Church, where she found joy in her fellowship and community.

She is survived by her three sons, T. Michael Goodman, Bradford Elmore Goodman,

and Gregory Hayes Goodman; grandchildren, Elizabeth Bliss Goodman and Sterling

Eden Goodman; and great-grandchildren, Hooks David Ellis, Evelyn Lilly Ellis, and

Emma Anne Ammons. She also leaves behind her brother, Hayes Hoobler, and a host

of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Wilson, and her sister,

Jane Earl Wilbanks.
