Mr. Eburn Dorsey Emory, Jr., age 84, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024.

He was born in West Point, Georgia on May 4, 1940, son of the late Eburn Dorsey Emory, Sr. and Lille Merle Hamilton Emory.

Mr. Emory worked for Georgia Power as a Lineman and Accounts Supervisor from which he retired after over 40 years of service. He served in the US Army Reserves and was a member of the Carroll Masonic Lodge #69 and the First Christian Church. He enjoyed eating tomatoes and biscuits, fishing, goat-farming and coin collecting.

He is survived by his son, Benjamin Dorsey Emory; and sister, Diane Christian. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria C. Emory; and brother, David Emory.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11 AM at West Georgia Memorial Park with military honors being provided by American Legion Post #143.
