Dr. Terrell "Terry" Gray Bailey, Jr., age 85 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

He was born in Heard County, Georgia on February 6, 1939, the son of the late, Terrell Gray Bailey, Sr. and Mozelle Huckeba Bailey.

Dr. Bailey obtained his Masters degree from Clemson University in 1963 and his Doctorate in Education from The University of Georgia in 1973. He was a retired Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at West Georgia College. Terry enjoyed bike riding, dancing, traveling, photography, computers, learning new things, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Lina Wallace and Brigette Bailey Rabitsch (Don Randall, "D.R."); grandchildren, Paul Anthony Wallace, Kaitlyn Sarah Rabitsch and Joshua Luke Rabitsch; sister Lucy Bailey Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Frances Bailey Walker.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 2 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the service.
