Mrs. Donna Lee Shope, age 51 of Temple, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. Mrs. Shope was born in Carrollton, Georgia on June 6, 1967, the daughter of Betty Overton Moran and the late Albert Parker. She was self employed as a furniture builder and had worked at Kingsbridge Metal. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Full Gospel Church. Survivors include her husband, Bobby Shope; children, Chris Suggs of Calhoun, Ashley Thomas of Carrollton, Denise Shope of Woodland, Alabama, Tiffany Shope of Carrollton, Bobby Shope Jr. of Carrollton, Harley Shope of Carrollton, Hunter Shope of Carrollton; grandchildren, Jalee Suggs, Ashton Suggs, Colee Thomas, Karma Thomas, Parker Thomas, Jesse Morrow, Lea Thomas, Haley Thomas, Jake Thomas, Jaxon Shope; sister, Pat Parker; brothers, Eric Moran, Jacob Parker and mother-in-law, Inez Richardson. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Parker, step father, Barry Moran; in-laws, Alvin and Patsy Suggs and father-in-law, Doyle Shope. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. A graveside service and interment will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Carroll Memory Gardens with Pastor John Lemmings officiating. Pallbearers will be Hunter Shope, Bobby Shope Jr., Daniel Smallwood, Ashton Suggs, Bobby Joe Thomas and David Gray.
