Mrs. Donna Kay Allums Hobbs, age 59, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020.
Mrs. Hobbs was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 5, 1961, the daughter of Millie Virginia Tucker Allums Smith and the late Calvin Lester Allums. Mrs. Hobbs was a faithful wife, loving and caring mother, grandmother and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband, James (JR) Hobbs; mother, Millie Allums Smith sons, Anthony Heath Allums, Jeremy Ron Moore, Christopher J. Hobbs; daughters, Brandi Lynn Hobbs Maxwell, Amanda A. Farmer all of Carrollton; brothers and sisters, Samuel Allums of Carrollton, Deborah Allums Marks of Bowdon, Denise Allums Easterwood and Scott Allums also of Carrollton; grandchildren, Dolphus Quaid Hobbs, Paxton Brodi Hobbs, Huckleberry Mike Maxwell, Marli Lynne Maxwell, Finley Mae Maxwell, Zettie Hayes Maxwell, Jasmine Moore, Xander Allums, Audrey New, Allie Allums, Jason Taylor and great grandson, Dolph Ryker Timothy Hobbs. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Genesis Farmer and brothers, Michael and Steve Allums.
The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Taylor, Sr. officiating.
Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia.
