Donald A. Walls of Roopville passed peacefully away on June 10,2017 at his home with his wife of 52 years. He was 76 and was born on April 5, 1941. Don Walls was born in Coweta County near Turin where he grew up and attended East Coweta County High School. Later he put himself through West Georgia College where he earned a bachelor degree in chemistry with a minor in math. He was a devoted husband and father and a proud grandfather. Don was outgoing and made friends easily. He is known for loving trains, old tractors and bicycling. Don worked at Georgia Power, Douglas and Lomason, Fang Chemicals and Pegasus Solutions. He was preceded in death by his father Aldine Wall and mother Eva Pitts Wall. Mr. Walls is survived by his wife Lucy Lee Talley Walls, two sons Walter and his wife Cassie of Easley South Carolina, Lee Walls from Roopville, and a daughter Margaret and husband Daryl Quinton of Villa Rica. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Joshua Dylan Walls, Justin Scott Walls, Kelcy Shea Walls, Savannah Candler Walls and Jeb Morgan Walls. Don also was survived by two cousins Selma Coty and Mary Palmer. Services will be at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church at the corner of Highway 5 and Blackwelder Road in Tyus ,Georgia at 11 AM Wednesday, June 14, 2017. **For GPS Purposes Please use Bowdon, Georgia.
