Mrs. Dixie McCaskill Cranford, age 75, of Carrollton, GA passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Mrs. Cranford was born in Troy, NC on January 1, 1939, the daughter of the late Clyde McCaskill and Fronnie Hicks McCaskill. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James W. Cranford, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Willis Boddie of Carrollton, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Laurie Cranford III, Scott and Heather Cranford all of Villa Rica, GA; grandchildren, Heather (Freddie) Lovell, Sierra Cranford and James Cranford IV; great grandchildren, Mason Lovell and Rylan Lovell. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor David Haag and Pastor Scott Cranford officiating. Entombment will be in the Carroll Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
