Linda Diane Crow Lancaster, age 81, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Ms. Lancaster was born in Carroll County, Georgia on November 16, 1942, the daughter of the late William Leslie Crow and Virginia Mae Dotson Crow. She attended Carrollton City Schools class of 1960, Hinds Junior College in Raymond, Mississippi, Universal Airlines School in Ft. Worth, Texas and graduated from Greenleaf Business College in Atlanta. During her working career, she worked for United Mine Workers of America, District 50 and retired from the Department of Urban Development where she managed foreclosures. Ms. Lancaster was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.

Survivor include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris & Amy Lancaster; grandchildren, Kaila Diane Lancaster, Klemson Densie (Caige) Plsek, Haley Reese (Mason) Browning; sister, Carol Crow Kitchens; and the father of her son, Jerry Lancaster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth LeBron Bowman and brother, David Coleman.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday, February 23 from 5 pm until 7pm.

A graveside service and interment will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11 am at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, 6202 Trion Hwy, LaFayette, Georgia 30728 with Rev. Michael White officiating.

Pallbearers will be Haley Browning, Sean Osowski, Greg Lyle, Ian Lyle, Josh Lyle and Mason Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be the Carrollton High School class of 1960.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord United Methodist Church, 4694 S Hickory Level Rd, Carrollton, GA 30116.
