Mrs. Deborah Jordan Rice, age 64 of Villa Rica, Georgia died Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Mrs. Rice was born in Alabama on June 23, 1951, the daughter of the late Claude Jordan and Ruth McCulley Jordan. She was retired software engineer having worked with E3 and Associates, was a member of the Carrollton First United Methodist Church and Covenant Sunday School Class. Survivors include her sons, Russ Horton of Villa Rica, Ryan Horton of Minneapolis, Minnesota; fianc, Frank Henry Satterfield of Villa Rica; brother, Roy Jordan of Cedartown, Larry Jordan of Foley, Alabama, Steven Jordan of Ft. Polk, Louisiana; sister, Sandra J. Henson of Heflin, Alabama and five grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Rice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 9 at 2 p.m. at the Carrollton First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Patton officiating.
