Mr. Dean Charles Roberson, age 66, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. He was born in Carrollton, Georgia on January 30, 1958 to Rilla Carroll Roberson and the late James "Charles" Roberson.

Mr. Roberson was a graduate of Villa Rica High School and retired after many years from Georgia Power. Following retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by Machelle, Jacob, Logan and families; mother, Rilla Carroll Roberson; sister, Jo Roberson; nephew, David Ayers; niece, Christy Ayers; great niece, Sammie Ayers; great nephew, Tyler Ayers; uncles, Walter Carroll, George Carroll; aunt, Elgerie Carroll; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Bonnie Roberson; grandparents, Ance and Georgie Carroll, Frank and Ruth Roberson; aunts and uncles, Frank and Margie Carroll, Helen McEwen, Fred Carroll, Annie Carroll, Emily Barnes and Edna Carroll.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:30 PM from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. David Ayers officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until the service hour.

Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Jacob Albertson, Logan Albertson, Charlie Shoemaker, Lewis Carroll, Brian Carroll and Mike Hancock serving as pallbearers.
