Mr. David Monroe Rogers, age 81 of Carrollton passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.

Mr. Rogers was born on July 4, 1942, the son of the late Henry Mitchell "Bill" Rogers and Nannie Elouise Williamson Rogers. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force, retired corporate pilot having flew for Barnes Freight Line and Ralin.

He is survived by his daughters, Chimen Rogers, Damienne Black; grandchildren, Austin (Kendall) Black, Hayden (Marissa) Black; great grandchildren, Bennett Black, Eden Black, Jude Black, Pierson Black; sister, Carol Mercer and a niece and nephew.

A private family inurnment will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
