Mr. David Allen Brown, age 57, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mr. Brown was born in Covington, Kentucky, on June 6, 1965, son of the late Clifford Edward Brown and Virginia Stallmeyer Brown.

He was retired from Leon County Sheriff Office in Tallahassee, Florida and was currently employed as an educator at Cedartown Middle School. He had Masters Degrees in History and Education. Mr. Brown was very passionate about teaching, reading history books, autism awareness and helping on the farm raising kunekune pigs.

Survivors include his wife, Janet J. Brown; sons and daughter-in-law, Alex Brown, Garrett Brown, Logan (Avery) Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cliff (Joyce) Brown, Tom (Sandi) Brown, Henry (Alla) Brown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen (John) Ward, Ginny (Ed) Carter; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm at Almon Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1 pm in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bishop officiating.
