Mrs. D Jeanette Taylor age 85, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Mrs. Taylor was born on August 23, 1938 in Carrollton, Georgia the daughter of the late Reese Cook and Eunice Rigsby Cook. She had a very successful business career. She was the Office Manager for multiple different car dealerships, businesses and hosiery mills. Her hobbies included gardening, square dancing and traveling. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church for over 70 years. Most of all she loved her family and was very proud of her three boys.

Survivors include her sons, Rick Lambert, Tom Lambert, Tim Lambert (Sheila); grandchildren, Melissa Ree Oxley, Dana Michelle Thompson, Matthew Lynn Lambert; great grandchildren, Madison Grace Thompson, Madison Harris, Mylie Harris; sister, Shirley Terrell Swann (Kenneth); brother, Julian Cook (Mary); sister-in-law, Sara Cook and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Taylor; granddaughter, Brooke Nicole Harris; brothers, Ruben Crider, Weems Cook and JT Cook.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2 pm at Shady Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Harris and Min. John Latimer officiating.

The family will receive friends at Shady Grove Baptist Church on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Interment will be in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Rigsby, Alan Cook, Matthew Lambert, Jonathan Cook, Michael Harris and Ricky Driver.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
