Mrs. Connie Gail Shelton, age 88, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Connie was born on August 2, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William Everett Frasier and Florence Ruth (Yockey) Frasier. She had a successful career in two Michigan school districts, starting as a switchboard operator and working her way up to a career as the Director of Food Service for Willow Run Community Schools, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to caring for others. She instilled that same work ethic in her daughters, who grew to be strong women in their careers and family lives.

In 1995, Connie and her beloved husband, Lee, moved to Georgia, where she continued to build a life centered on family, friendship and community.

Connie enjoyed traveling with friends and family, playing cards in various clubs, dancing and tending to her yard and flower gardens. She also enjoyed a good party and was known to throw a few of her own. Connie was civic-minded and enjoyed being involved in organizations such as Civitan and Kiwanis, and she took pride in her involvement with the homeowner's associations and committees in the communities in which she lived. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and the memories they created together.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Pamela and Gary Quitiquit, Kimberly and Lloyd Shreckengost, Lee and Donald Miller, and MaryAnn and Robert Collins; her grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, Jillian, Brett, Laurie, Rick, Chaselynn and Madison; and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Shelton.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, with Pastor Lynn Marlowe officiating and will be livestreamed at: https://youtube.com/live/mW9depJ9eAM?feature=share

A reception will follow the service at The Olive Tree Restaurant - Villa Rica, located at 150 Stone Street, Villa Rica, GA 30180.
